Kay joined Herbst Law Group as a legal assistant in May 2025, bringing strong organizational skills, research experience and a commitment to client service. Kay plays a key role in supporting attorneys and clients of the firm in all aspects of estate planning and administration.
Kay graduated with honors from Bridgewater State University with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and a minor in Philosophy. During her studies, she worked as a research assistant in the Criminal Justice Department, assisting with legal document transcription and database research. She also gained hands-on experience as a law clerk where she organized case files, assisted with subpoenas, and provided client support.
At the firm, Kay assists with client intakes, preparing legal documents, maintaining client files, and ensuring smooth communication between attorneys, clients and outside professionals. She is especially valued for her attention to detail, reliability and professional approach to client service.
